We seek to provide an opportunity for someone with 3+ years of experience already in the financial planning or investment management field, as well as, career changers who are enrolled in a CFP® education program.

Preference will be given to local applicants with the necessary qualifications, but exceptional candidates seeking a remote position will be considered.

Required Qualities

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial and investment plans.
• Pre-meeting and post-meeting support to financial advisors.
• Assist with client onboarding, including preparation of new accounts forms.
• Collect, organize and input client information.
• Answer routine client questions and service requests.
• Prepare and deliver client reports and help maintain client databases.
• As directed, research investments, present findings in spreadsheets and make equity trades.
• Help align clients’ investment portfolio to match their risk tolerance and time frame.
• Be a thinking partner to implement new technologies, workflows, and growth strategies.
• Other duties as assigned and perform all duties with confidence, minimal supervision, and sound judgment.

Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree and five years of industry or work experience.
• Series 65 or passage of the exam within six (6) months of hire.
• CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Practioner) or enrolled in CFP® education program.
• Analytical mind.
• Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and GoogleDocs (or equivalents).
• Comfortable with cloud-based applications, including CRM, financial planning software, portfolio management, online file storage, team-based communications, and electronic document signing/sending programs.

Compensation

• Salary range: $50,000-70,000.
• Paid time off and holidays.
• 401(k) retirement savings plan with 3% matching contribution.

Be a jack of all trades in supporting the firm from office admin to financial and investment planning to marketing efforts. This could be a summer or year-round position for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities

• Collecting quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns.

• Support marketing efforts which may include helping script, film, and edit short videos for social media and do create other social media posts.
• Other duties as assigned and perform all duties with confidence, minimal supervision, and sound judgment.

Education and Attibutes

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs (or equivalents).
• Comfortable with cloud-based applications, including CRM, financial planning software, portfolio management, online file storage, team-based communications, electronic document signing/sending programs.
