Have you ever wished that your life would stop for just a minute so you can catch your breath?

This is common, especially for women in transition, and if you need that minute, consider taking a whole weekend to regroup, recharge, and renew your wellspring within.

We are so excited to be hosting Rise Up: Re(treat) November 9-11, 2018, at the Wequassett Resort & Golf Club on Cape Cod, and offering a scholarship as well. The retreat is open to women going through a transitional time in their lives, whether they’re divorced, widowed, empty-nested, sandwiched, getting ready for retirement or simply coping with a major change.

The weekend retreat will be led by two master coaches: acclaimed coach, author, and speaker Jane Pollak of New York City; and senior faculty member at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health Ken Nelson of Lenox, Massachusetts; as well as Paula Harris of WH Cornerstone Investments. The program will meet participants where they are and, with the support of the group, move them toward where they want to be.

WH Cornerstone invites women who are experiencing a curveball in their life a chance to regroup and rise up. This all-inclusive three-day, two-night retreat will feature meditation, mindful movement, coaching exercises, and journaling, all designed for deep relaxation, reflection, and personal growth during each participant’s time of transition.

We understand that all women may benefit from a weekend like this, however, many women may not have the financial resources during a time of transition to attend. This is why they have decided to provide one retreat spot free of charge to a deserving woman. They are accepting applications until Sept. 1 for a woman who is highly motivated, yet financially challenged at this time, to attend. We hosted a retreat for widows in 2017 at Mirbeau Inn & Spa in Plymouth. Below is feedback from some past retreat participants:

“I loved the intimate group setting and all the spirited skills of the instructors so much and kindness displayed by the presenters was so genuine.”

“Excellent, top shelf retreat. Would recommend to any women in transition not only widows.”

“What I learned the most is: I’m not alone and what I’m feeling is okay.”

“I can ‘choose’ what I accept to do and can leave alone that which I can’t change because it is out of my control.”
