A new addition to WH Cornerstone Investments
There are many words to describe David I. Shactman: lawyer, advisor, and lifelong learner.
There’s just one that he is not ready to use: retired.
When we met David Shactman over a year ago, we were struck by all the similarities in our thought process—professionally and personally.
When he approached us about teaming up we were honored to have him join our firm.
Here’s why he’s a great fit:
Since 1971, David has specialized in the design, installation, and administration of all forms of retirement plans for business, professional, and individual clients. And he doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
You can see why he’s a great fit at WH Cornerstone Investments: he’s living proof of seeing a future greater than his past.
In the past 25 years, David’s clients have experienced thoughtful investment counsel providing them with retirement income to help ensure their retirement years are all they envision them to be.
David received his undergraduate degree from Amherst College and received a Doctor Jurisprudence degree from the University of Michigan Law School. After serving in the legal office of the United States Coast Guard, David maintained a private practice, specializing in labor relations and corporate and retirement planning.
When David merged his practice with Laventhol & Horwath of Boston in 1985, he assumed responsibility, as a Senior Principal, for managing and marketing retirement and employee benefits for the firm’s New England clients. Since 1990, David has served as a consultant for ADQ, Inc. of Waltham, MA and Derby and Company, Inc. of Newton, MA. He also acts as a trustee responsible for managing over 10 million dollars in assets invested in a broadly diversified portfolio.
He started his practice in 1992 on Cape Cod, and he brings his diverse background, experience, and clients with him to WH Cornerstone Investments. Our partnership began in the fall of 2017.
